Two school records fell Saturday as the Douglas High swimming & diving team continued its impressive run through the Zephyr League schedule with a sweep of Manogue.
The girls won their meet against the Miners 190-91 and the boys picked up a 179-82 victory.
Senior Haley VonSchottenstein continued her assault on the school record books, adding her name twice more on Saturday with a 2:02.89 time to win the 200 free and with a strong anchor leg to a 3:52.64 time in the 400 free relay. The records were 10 and 12 years old respectively.
Von Schottenstein teamed with Meagan Skilling, Michele Forman and Taylor Killion for the 400 free record.
Of 11 swimming events, Von Schottenstein now has her name on six of them, with the 200 IM, the 100 fly, 500 free, 100 backstroke and 100 breaststroke being the ones she hasn't either claimed or had a part in claiming.
Also for the Lady Tigers on Saturday, Forman won the 200 IM, followed in second by Skilling.
Mary Smithen won the 50 free, with Cassie Parr in third. Samantha Phillips won the diving and Achaia Sigel in second and Forman won the 100 fly.
Skilling won the 100 free and Smithen was second. Killion won the 500 free, Von Schottenstein won the 100 back with Killion in third and Chandra Matheson won the 100 breaststroke with Yuchen Jin in second. Christina Henning took third in the 200 free for Douglas as well.
Douglas won all three relay events.
On the boys' side, Kyle Johnston won the 200 free while Ben Syang was third, Colby Cain won the 50 free with Sam Ansel in third, and Cameron Morefield won the 200 IM with Daniel Palmer in second.
Noah Thew, Michael Darby and Conner McKeon swept the top three places in diving.
Eric Van Beuge won the 100 back and took second in the 100 fly while Shawn Stubnar was third in both events. Palmer was second in the 100 free, followed by Ansel in third.
Johnston won the 500 free, Morefield was second in the 100 breaststroke and the Douglas relay squads won the 200 medley, 200 free and 400 free relays.
