A Minden-based company purchased the Hardman House in late April, according to city documents.
The hotel, built in 1977, was purchased on April 28 by BP Hotel LLC of Minden for $800,000. The company is owned by Shyam Patel and Inderjit Bath.
The new owners declined to comment for this story.
This is the second time the Carson City hotel, 917 N. Carson St., has changed ownership since last year.
The Hardman House went into default in February 2009 and was auctioned off to Leeward Strategic Properties of Houston on Oct. 29 for $1.25 million, according to city documents.
About $25,000 in back room taxes from 2009 also were paid to the Carson City Convention & Visitors Bureau after the sale.
The Hardman House had been owned by Las Vegas-based Hospitality Ventures Carson City LLC since 1999. The company has since gone into default, according to its business listing on the Nevada Secretary of State Web site.
"I would have rated (the Hardman House) in our top 10," Candace Duncan, executive director of the Carson City Convention & Visitors Bureau, said Tuesday. "It seemed like a nice property, it had a good following, golfers seemed to like it."
