Main Street Gardnerville will once again be hosting its Thirsty Third Thursday Wine Walks every third Thursday of the month, May through September, from 4:30 to 8 p.m. in the downtown Gardnerville Main Street District.
The first event of the year is Thursday. The theme for the night is Crazy Hats and Sunglasses.
Cost is $5 for a 2010 green commemorative wine glass, which can be used all season, then $10 to register. The registration booth will be located at the Carson Valley Museum starting at 4:30 p.m.
Tahoe Reno Photo Booth, benefiting Main Street Gardnerville, and Best BBQ Catering Company, benefiting the Gardnerville Volunteer Fire Department, will also be at the museum.
Monique De Haviland and Wesley Orsolic will perform at Joyce's Fine Jewelry & Designing Images. Drinks, food, prizes and entertainment will be available throughout the Main Street District.
Themes for each subsequent event will be as follows: Western for June 17; Red, White and Blue for July 15 (beer and wine); Rockin' 50's for Aug. 19 (beer and wine); and Hawaiian for Sept. 16.
