Visitation is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Walton's Funeral Home in Reno for Marie C. Farnesi, 93, who died May 18, 2010 in Gardnerville.
Born Dec. 18, 1916, in Lodi, Calif., she was a longtime Reno resident of 67 years, having lived in Westfield Village.
In her earlier years, Mrs. Farnesi was a licensed cosmetologist. She enjoyed gardening and loved being in the outdoors.
Mrs. Farnesi was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Jack Farnesi.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Dennis (Ana) Farnesi of Zephyr Cove; brother Patrick Gallagher of Lodi; sisters Billie Flamm of Oakland and Hazel Weir of Grants Pass, Ore.; and grandson, Darren Farnesi, MD, of San Diego.
There will be a funeral service at noon Wednesday, with burial to follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
