Don't count out the Nevada Wolf Pack in the Western Athletic Conference baseball tournament just yet.

Pinch-hitter Cullen Mahoney blasted a walk-off, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning today as Nevada avoided elimination with a dramatic 5-4 win over New Mexico State.

The Pack will now get another shot at San Jose State, which shut out Nevada (36-21-1) earlier in the tournament, at 4 p.m. today in Mesa, Ariz.

New Mexico State and Louisiana Tech have been ousted from the six-team double-elimination tournament.

The Aggies built 3-0 and 4-2 leads behind the pitching of Ryan Beck, Scott Coffman and Daniel Reyes, who collectively limited the Pack to six hits through 7 2/3 innings. But the Pack finally got to an Aggies' pitcher in the ninth, scoring three runs off Steven Anderson on three hits.

Tyler Graham picked up the win in relief of Brock Stassi, a day after saving the Pack's 3-1 win over Louisiana Tech.

Designated hitter Nick Leid supplied two of the Pack's nine hits.

Hawaii and Fresno State will meet tonight in a winners' bracket matchup.
