Soroptimist International of the Comstock hosts its first Ladies Night Out, 4-7 p.m. Nov. 13, at Dayton Valley Golf Club, 101 Palmer Drive.
Money raised by the event benefit goes toward improving the lives of local women and children.
"This is a time for women to meet other women, enjoy a visit and do some early holiday shopping, all while helping a worthy cause," said Lois Wallace, Soroptimist member and event chairwoman.
Guests have the opportunity to shop for items from Pampered Chef, Miche Bags, Silpada Jewelry, Tastefully Simple, Premier Design, and Beauty Control.
"Most of these vendors are women-owned, home-based businesses," Wallace said. "This event showcases their products, gets them some exposure and keeps our dollars local."
Cost of $20 include appetizers, one drink and entry into the drawing for a $75 gift certificate. There will be a no-host bar.
