Two teenagers were arrested in connection with the alleged sales of LSD and marijuana.
Sheriff's Sgt. Jim Halsey said the 16-year-old and 17-year-old boys were taken into custody last week following an investigation into drug sales.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office Street Enforcement Team officers conducted purchases of marijuana and 10 hits of LSD from the suspects who are Douglas High School students.
Halsey said the sales were conducted off-campus.
The juveniles, whose names were not released, were taken into custody without incident and turned over to Douglas County juvenile probation.
"Based on information gathered by DCSET officers during their investigation, it is believed the pair, one a resident of Minden, the other a resident of Gardnerville, are affiliated with other local area suspects involved in drug sales," Halsey said.
