A suspicious package shut down GE Energy's Minden plant briefly Monday afternoon.
The package came from Hong Kong and the shipping papers didn't say where it was from, according to the Douglas County Sheriff's report.
The Tahoe-Douglas Bomb Squad was called at 1:34 p.m. and the area was evacuated.
A spokeswoman said the Douglas County Sheriff's Office X-rayed the package and discovered it was safe.
The spokeswoman said everyone who was still on site went back to work after the all-clear was given.
The package turned out to be a box of programmable plastic key cards.
