The California Highway Patrol is working a traffic accident at Highway 88 just west of Schneider Cow Camp Road. The accident was reported at 5:18 a.m. CHP arrived at 5:51 a.m. They should be clearing it pretty soon.

The National Active and Retired Federal Employees meet 2 p.m. today at Carson Valley United Methodist Church on Centerville Lane in Gardnerville.
