Highway 395 through Gardnerville was closed for more than an hour after a two-vehicle accident at South Industrial Way at 2:21 p.m.
One person was transported from the scene to Carson Valley Medical Center with an injured shoulder.
Both vehicles received major front-end damage in the accident, which involved a pickup and a minivan.
The Nevada Highway Patrol and Douglas County Sheriff's Office diverted traffic down Industrial Way around the accident scene.
