Indian Hills General Improvement District General Manager Jim Taylor is asking the district board members for a bonus at their regular meeting 6 p.m. today in their offices on James Lee Park Road. At their last meeting, trustees approved renewing Taylor's contract without a raise.
It looks like the National Weather Service is sticking to its guns that a storm rolling into the Sierra on Friday will bring snow down to the Valley floor by Saturday. Expect strong winds on Thursday and Friday. The forecast shows snow lasting into Monday.
Today, however, will be sunny with a high of 59 degrees as the storm pushes all the warm air out in front of it. It will be windy Thursday at 25 mph with gusts of up to 45 mph. Expect the high temperature to crack 62.
