One person was injured and Highway 395 south of Gardnerville was closed for more than an hour after an accident Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred 2:22 p.m. when a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer driven by Gardnerville resident Kathryn Anne James, 63, collided with a 2007 Toyota Tundra driven by Dale Burgess Fullerton, 69.
According to the Nevada Highway Patrol, James was turning left onto Highway 395 striking the front of the pickup.
Both vehicles suffered front end damage. Fullerton was taken to Carson Valley Medical Center with a shoulder injury.
James was cited for failing to yield the right-of-way.
