With Coleville and Sierra Lutheran battling for the league lead Tuesday night, something had to give.
Coleville battled to a 30-28, 25-13, 25-20 win in a match that officials called the best they'd seen at the 1A level all season.
The teams fought back and forth in the first game before Coleville's Linzy Garcia finished off the 30-28 win with a kill.
Garcia was the leading hitter for the Wolves and Tori Park and Lela Gnuse-Stokes each had big games as well.
For Sierra Lutheran, junior Tiffany Patrick led the team with eight kills, four assists and four aces. Hannah Ediss had 10 assists to go with four kills and sophomore McKinze Tynes, who recently won a starting spot, had two blocks, three kills and three aces.
