Four eateries related to the Pastini family, once scattered across the Valley, have now been consolidated in the Scolari's shopping center in Gardnerville, 1329 Highway 395.

Kim Lee's Japanese Restaurant, Sushi and Oyster Bar was opened in Reno in 1988 and moved to Carson City in 1999. A branch opened in the current Gardnerville location in 2009.

Debbie Lynn opened her homemade ice cream store this year at the former Cold Stone Creamery in Minden, but when Radio Shack in the Scolari's center moved a few months ago, she moved her ice cream and candy story next to Kim Lee's and cut passages through the wall so that one can walk between the stores.

Brother-in-law Mike Bernard Jones moved his Wiener World into the restaurant, and Tony Pastini moved his Chicago deli in as well.

The four establishments are open daily. Call 782-3400 for more information.

Deja Vu Salon has relocated to the Sunset Park Center in Minden.

The full-service salon offers hair, nails and massage.

"We have excellent customer service, and cutting-edge style," said owner Shari Whipple.

Located at 1560 Highway 395, Suite D, salon hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday. Information, call 782-8776.
