Minden resident Quinlan is executive director of the Nevada Rock Art Foundation and is an expert in Nevada rock art. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Southampton, England.

Quinlan's presentation includes discussion of theories on the importance of place and the social context of Nevada rock art.
