Homecoming week was a success and it was all thanks to the great people from our wonderful community. We would like to congratulate our 2010 Homecoming Queen Jessica Vega and King Matt Thomas. Also, big thanks to the nominees for all of their involvement in the week: Chris Downs, Shannon Dugan, Carson McFadden, Asher Moody, Jonny Lawrence, Daniel Lundergreen, Naomi Roberts and Shannon Sturgess.

Douglas High School's leadership would never have been able to put on all of homecoming's festivities without the gracious help of Tux Town, Heather Van Cleave, Rita Borselli and DHS Screen Printing, Jason Berry and the DHS Custodial Staff, Mrs. Lammiman and DHS Tiger Lilly, Kid Pix Portrait Studios, Kerry Munk and DHS Varsity Cheerleaders, Mr. 'Z' and the Pride of the Carson Valley Marching Band, DHS Athletic Department, Shannon Litz, Scott Neuffer, and Joey Crandall from The Record-Courier, DHS football coaches and team, and the incredibly supportive Carson Valley Community. It is important for us to mention the amazing support of the entire DHS administration and staff who cooperated with all of our events and interruptions. We are particularly thankful to the teachers and staff who participated in dress up days, lunch time activities, and chaperoned the dance and for Mr. Glover, Mrs. Seelbinder, and Mr. Morgan for their many hours of volunteered time. We are also especially grateful for our outstanding 'Teacher of the Year' and best leadership advisor around: Ms. Karen Lamb. We could not have made this week as fun and successful without all of these people.

We would also like to give a special thank you to our fellow 32 members of the DHS Student Leadership Class. You all worked together for countless hours to make this homecoming very special for all involved. You are truly an amazing group of people who our school is lucky to have.
