Rain is falling at .16 inches an hour in Minden and .12 inches an hour in Genoa Canyon as the National Weather Service issued an urban and small stream flooding advisory for the Sierra from Minden to Doyle, Calif.

The California Highway Patrol is working a vehicle vs. tree accident on Highway 50 near Mount Ralston Road. No one was injured in the accident reported at 2:27 p.m., but the tree blocked both lanes of the highway for a time.
