'Murder's in the Heir' plays this weekend

The Pau-Wa-Lu Players, students from Pau-Wa-Lu and Carson Valley middle schools, present "Murders in the Heir," today, Saturday and Sunday, at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School, 701 Long Valley Road in the Gardnerville Ranchos.

Each of the heirs to the tyrannical billionaire Simon Starkweather in this comedic mystery has the weapon, opportunity and motive to commit a murder. The audience decides who done it.

"Murder's in the Heir" is directed by Rich Garrett. Cast includes Mark Watters, Heather Vo, Cooper Whittemore, Isabella Basche, Justin Hubbard, Kai Stoll, Kathryn Boatwright, Jocelyn Contrera, Grant Spurgeon, Emily Tuggle, Ali Cronan, Sydney Cotton, Ryan Long, Michelle Schilling, Marlee Ford.

Costumer is Laura Jeanne Hammer, backstage manager is Braeden Garrett, backstage tech is Amber Johnson, and Victoria Martin runs the sound board.

A dinner catered by Daria Essarey of chicken in bearnaise sauce, twice-baked potatoes, salad, dessert and drink is offered for $5.

"Murders in the Heir" is performed 7 p.m. today and Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.
