Donations of gently used purses of any brand, age, color and style are wanted for the Baggin' Memory Loss Boutique Sale to benefit the Alzheimer's Association, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 2 at the Nugget Casino in Carson City.
The purses are collected until Sept. 11 at Merrill Gardens at Gardnerville, 1565-A Virginia Ranch Road, and in Carson City at the Lodge Assisted Living, St. Peter's Episcopal Church and the Carson City Senior Center.
Proceeds from the Baggin' Memory Loss event benefit the Memory Walk fundraiser for the Alzheimer's Association. The Northern Nevada Memory Walk is 10 a.m. Oct. 9 at the Sparks Marina.
