A debate on the revision of the Minden-Tahoe Airport ordinance is 6 p.m. at the CVIC Hall tonight. The question both sides need to address: What the ordinance means to people who don't have a stake in the airport?

Genoa Town Board members discussed expanding the town's boundaries at their meeting on Tuesday night. This time they're looking at a more limited annexation, including Meadowlark to the east, above Genoa Street in the west and Centennial Lane in the north. Recognizing the unlikelihood the proposal will fly, they rejected spending any money on it.

It's still windy out this morning as a low pressure system rolls into the Carson Valley. There's a 30 percent chance of showers or thundershowers starting around 11 a.m. Expect mostly cloudy skies with 15-20 mph winds gusting to up to 30 mph. The high is forecast to be in the upper 60s today.
