Where did you live before moving to Douglas County?

I have lived in Douglas County my whole life.


Family: Son and daughter Allen Biaggi and Carol Aldax


Former profession: Milk distributor


How long have you been a volunteer? 20 years


Where do you currently volunteer? Carson Valley Community Food Closet


What are your volunteer duties? Picking up food and other items from donating businesses and organizations, and transporting it to the Food Closet.


How much time do you volunteer per month? 20 hours


Why and how did you become a volunteer? To help people. I enjoy doing it.


Favorite aspects of volunteering? Associating with the other people.


What would you say to others to encourage others to volunteer? It helps in meeting people.

Why and how did you become a volunteer? I became a volunteer to help the needs of other people. I began in San Jose.


Favorite aspects of volunteering? Helping the needy.


What would you say to others to encourage others to volunteer? It is a privilege to serve those in need.
