Thompson, Brodie engaged to be married

Leslie Thompson and Cain Brodie of Las Vegas are engaged to be married Nov. 6, 2010, in Las Vegas.

Leslie is the daughter of Steve and Debbie Thompson of Las Vegas. She is a 2001 graduate of Bishop Gorman High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno. She received a Master of Education degree in literacy from the University of San Diego in 2006, and is a kindergarten teacher at Linda Givens Elementary School in Las Vegas.

Cain is the son of Mike Brodie of Gardnerville, and Penny Hamilton of Carson City. He is a 2000 graduate of Douglas High School, and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism from the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2005. He is a brand manager at World Market Center Las Vegas.
