The Douglas volleyball team got an outstanding effort from its servers Tuesday night, recording 17 aces in a 25-11, 25-9, 25-18 win over Wooster.
The Tigers improved to 3-0 in Northern 4A play to remain tied atop the Sierra League standings.
Brenna White led the service attack, recording eight aces to go with 12 service points. Shannon Dugan had four aces to go with 10 points, Emily Garcia and Jackie Harper each had two aces and Mia Townsell had one.
Dugan (12 kills), White (five kills) and Garcia (four kills) led the Tiger attack while Jacker Harper doled out 22 assists.
Savannah Wood added two kills while Harper, Keely Latham, Carly McCullough, Heidi Schefcik, Townsell and Amanda Wartgow each had one.
Garcia had five blocks, Harper had three and Dugan had two. Townsell and White each turned in eight digs while Dugan had seven and Nikki Chavez had four.

Douglas defeated Wooster in two games, 25-15, 25-17 Tuesday.
Shawnee McFadden led the team in kills with four and Katie McCullough and Illiana Brown both had one solo block each. Both Madeline Strauss and Daylin Olson served strongly to contribute to the win.
