The Nevada Sheriffs' and Chiefs' Association is hosting the annual Nevada Carry Concealed Weapon Permit Holders Forum 9 a.m.-noon Sept. 30 in Carson City and via teleconference in Las Vegas and Elko.
The forum is to gather public input regarding administration of the carry concealed weapon permitting process which is the responsibility of county sheriffs.
The panel includes Douglas County Undersheriff Paul Howell, the association's CCW committee chairman; Julie Butler, division of records and technology Nevada Department of Public Safety, and Frank Adams, executive director of the sheriffs' and chiefs' association.
The forum will be held at the Nevada Legislature Building, 401 S. Carson St., Carson City, room 1214.
It will be teleconferenced to the Grant Sawyer Building, 555 E. Washington Blvd., Las Vegas, room 4412, and the Great Basin College, 1500 College Parkway, Elko.
The meeting also will be broadcast on the Legislature's Web site, www.leg.state.nv.us.
