One of the four people accused of a series of car burglaries in Genoa and Johnson Lane was extradited from Washington on Tuesday.
A warrant was issued for Andrue Madden, 24, on Aug. 10, charging him with two counts of burglary.
Madden was allegedly involved in a burglary ring based out of Carson City.
More than 18 burglaries of unlocked vehicles were reported in Douglas County.
There was a break in the case on July 8 when Christop-her Allan Buttz, 18, was arrested in Sparks on a traffic stop.
According to documents filed in East Fork Justice Court, Buttz's arrest lead to a July 14 raid on a home on Dori Way in Carson City where hundreds of items reported stolen were found.
Bryan Allen Gaudette, 23, and Heather Olea, 22, were arrested at the Carson City address.
According to a statement supporting the warrant for Madden's arrest, he described to deputies how he and another man entered Genoa Lakes through the front gate. The pair reportedly checked to see if cars were unlocked and took what they found. Items included electronics and other valuables.
Douglas County officers traveled to Olympia, Wash., to take Madden into custody.
His bail is set at $25,000.
