A one-time Gardnerville tattoo artist faces a 24-60-month sentence sentencing on a robbery charge in Douglas County District Court this morning.

Timothy Young, 27, pleaded guilty to robbery on Aug. 9, avoiding prosecution on the more serious charges of kidnapping in the first degree and robbery with use of a deadly weapon. Young is in Nevada State Prison serving up to five years for an unrelated incident with similar charges.

Another man charged in the same incident, Robert Pierce, 33, has denied his guilt. A trial has been set for Nov. 2.
