A memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday at the Carson Valley Inn Tahoe Room for Minden resident Dennis Donald Schroth, 55, who died at home on Sept. 17, 2010.
Born July 6, 1945, in Altoona, Pa., he served in the U.S. Army in Korea during the Vietnam War.
He worked for GTE for most of his career before retiring after 38 years. He married Georgia in 1992 in Bullhead City, Ariz.
The couple lived in Pomona Valley, Calif., before moving to Minden eight years ago.
Mr. Schroth was a member of the Neptune Society.
