RENO (AP) - Nevada basketball coach David Carter says reserves Derrel Conner and Marko Cukic have decided to transfer to other schools in search of more playing time.

Conner was the Wolf Pack's backup point guard last season, leading all players off the bench with 4.5 points and 1.5 assists a game. He spent one season at Nevada after transferring from Kankakee (Ill.) Community College.

Cukic is a power forward who spent two seasons at Nevada. He averaged 2.6 points and 1.5 rebounds per game as a true freshman but played a total of only 65 minutes last year.

Carter said both Conner and Cukic are in good academic standing.

He says he's comfortable with sophomore-to-be Jordan Finn and junior-to-be Keith Fuetsch handling the backup point guard duties next season behind Deonte Burton.
