KIDS & HORSES POKER RUN
This is not your usual poker run, it has a twist. Saddle up your horses and come join this fundraiser for Kids & Horses in recognition of Autism Awareness Month. That's right, grab your spurs, your horse and head down to Minden Kids & Horses Equestrian Center and ride the beautiful scenic trails. Afterward enjoy a delicious barbeque and check out the facility. This program's motto is "empowering children and adults." Kids & Horses' therapeutic riding programs provide many with the opportunity to experience a sense of freedom. Come enjoy a very unique program that makes a huge difference.

WHERE: Kids & Horses Equestrian Center, Double W Ranch, Highway 395 to Stephanie Way (turn left on Esaw, go until the pavement ends and bear right into the Double W Ranch).
COST: Barbecue tickets $5, Poker Run tickets $20, and tickets to the trail ride are a suggested donation. The prizes for the poker run include an equine vet bag and service from Great Basin Equine.

CARSON CITY LITTLE LEAGUE GOLF TOURNAMENT
Come out for this big-hitter golf event and help support the Carson City Little League program. Each year CCLL gives scholarships to any child who wants to play but cannot afford the cost, allowing everyone the same opportunity on the baseball field. That is a huge commitment. Their fundraisers help children throughout Carson continue to play baseball and to find their field of dreams at Governors' Field.
