Cheers & Kudos for April 24

Many contributed to sold-out museum event

The Nevada State Museum and the Carson City Historical Society joined forces to present "The Daily Grind" portion of "Oh, My Bonnets and Bustles!" to the public on March 13.

Many people and businesses contributed to the event and to raffle prizes. We appreciate all those who helped make this a sold-out event for the second year.

Those who helped were Tina Davis-Hersey and the actors and dancers who volunteered for the fashion show; Friends of Nevada State Museum; the Silver Strings Quartet; "Hank Monk"; Jan Perry, Sandi Stanio, Jo Saulisberry, Nanci Adams, Mary DeFelice, Sharron Baldwin, Chuck Saulisberry, and David Bugli.

Gifts of gift certificates were donated by the Purple Avocado, Home Treasures, Hairline Salon and Boutique, Thurman Ranch House, Adele's, High Desert Hair, and the Carson City Symphony.

Our sincere thanks to all who helped and especially to those whose names have escaped us. And an especial thank you to those who attended the show. Hope to see you next year.
