Gospel concert coming in May

A free Gospel concert by The Nelons will be presented 10:30-11:30 a.m. May 29, Good Shepherd Wesleyan Church, 1505 Railroad Dr (corner of Saliman & Railroad) Carson City.

Night of contemporary worship music planned

Valley Christian Fellowship in Gardnerville Ranchos will host a concert at 7 p.m. May 26 with four worship bands from the Carson region: Once Refused, FireFire, Jacob Taylor and I Am "They."

All the bands will have tables set-up selling CDs and other merchandise. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $8 in advance, $10 at the door, and are available at Valley Christian Fellowship, Napa Auto Parts in Gardnerville, The Manger Bookstore in Carson City, Itickets.com, Calvary Chapel in Carson City and San Rafael Coffee Co. in Carson City.

Spring Tea and Fashion Show at St. Gall Church

Tickets are on sale now for St. Gall Women's Society annual "Spring Tea and Fashion Show" fundraiser which will be at noon May 21 in the St. Gall Pastoral Center, 1343 Centerville Lane, Gardnerville.

This year's tea will include, a champagne preview of the decorated tables, raffle prizes, silent auction, and a sit down tea with variety of mini sandwiches, scones, breads and desserts and a fashion show from local shops, "Ruby Rose," "Especially for You," and "Sidestreet Boutique."
