Eighteen carloads of people came in to attend the Caledonia picnic. No less than 2,000 people were on the grounds. In the rear of the shooting range was an enclosure in which games were placed peculiar to the Scotch. The fun began by throwing a heavy hammer which was just a cannon ball fastened to a long handle.

Warden Baker, who has ten men on King's Canyon road, has broken camp and taken the men to Lakeview, where the work of building a new road is in progress. Riders will like the fact that passing areas have been added in a few places.
