Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Mark Tompkins, 44, of Carson City, was arrested at 11:35 p.m. Monday in the 400 block of South Saliman Road on suspicion of felony domestic battery with choking, and misdemeanor domestic battery. Bail was set at $15,000.

• A 21-year-old Carson City man surrendered 9:15 p.m. Monday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on a warrant for suspicion of misdemeanor violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $1,000.

• A 37-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 9:36 p.m. Monday on College Parkway on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to appear. Bail was set at $192.

• A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 6:18 p.m. Tuesday at Roop Street and Winnie Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor contempt of court and driving on a suspended registration. Bail was set at $1,132.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A bicycle was reported stolen at 9:58 a.m. in the 300 block of South Carson Street.

• Coroner call at 10:45 a.m. in the 1900 block of G Street.

• Attempted burglary report at 10:53 a.m. in the 2800 block of Highway 50 East.

• Report of marijuana smoke odor permeating an apartment complex at 5:08 p.m. in the 700 block of Silver Oak Boulevard. Someone was cited for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Report at 5:48 p.m. of a burglary entering a home through a pet door and stealing cash and other items in the 2200 block of Woodcrest Lane.

• A woman reported at 7:12 p.m. that a stranger tried to leave a North Carson Street business with her toddler. Detectives are investigating.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report at 8:35 a.m. of a home egged on Grayhawk Court in Dayton.

• A man reported at 9:53 a.m. that someone was threatening him in Dayton.

• A Mound House father reported at 9:37 a.m. that his 16-year-old son had run away.

• Report at 12:35 a.m. of jewelry stolen from a home in the 300 block of West Street in Fernley.

• Report at 4:20 p.m. of a fence damaged on Michaelson Drive in Fernley.

• Coroner call at 7:26 p.m. on Darren Way in Fernley.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report at 10:58 p.m. of vehicles heading into American Flat area while speeding, with the occupants yelling and throwing what sounded like beer bottles.
