The American Poolplayers Association is now forming teams throughout Carson City. The new season starts Aug. 29.
Each team consists of five to eight players who compete seasonally or year-round in weekly play. The APA's copyrighted handicap system gives all players a chance to compete equally with players of different skill levels.
There are leagues offered for both 8-ball and 9-ball.
