Edith Delna Day passed away on August 13, 2011 in Carson City, NV. She is survived by three daughters and a son. Bette Larsen, Carson City; Jean Cummings, Reno; Kathy Allen, Dayton and Lyle Mumford, Elko. She has 9 grandchildren 13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Delna was born in Circleville, UT in 1914. Her family moved to McGill, NV where she attended White Pine County schools. She attended college in Utah to become an RN.
She took over in 1961 as program director of Elko's School of Practical Nursing through NNCC. She was active in the LDS Church and served a mission in Washington D. C. She will be missed by her family and friends.
A memorial service will be held on September 17, 2011 at 12 noon in the Dayton Ward at 304 Driftwood, Dayton, Nevada.
