Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All persons are innocent until proven guilty in court.

• Deputies responded to a call from operators of the Jack-in-the-Box restaurant at 5:35 p.m. Wednesday after the manager was told there was a man with a gun in the lobby. No weapon was found on the subject.

• A 32-year-old Carson City man was jailed in lieu of $5,500 bail on charges of domestic battery, second offense, and failure to appear on a traffic warrant. He was arrested at 1:56 a.m. Thursday in the 400 block of Winnie Lane after his girlfriend complained that he hit her and threw her around the room. The woman had a large scratch on her face.

• Deputies responded to a call at 11:04 a.m. Thursday from the Country Store on Highway 50 East. A customer upset over the refusal of his credit card came around the counter and punched the clerk. Investigators were reviewing the video of the assault to identify the assailant.
