Obituary: Carl Len Morton

Carl Len Morton passed away Wednesday December 14, 2011 in Carson City, NV. Carl was born to Leonard & Mucie Morton in Yerington, Nevada, January 4, 1955. After he graduated from high school in Yerington, NV, Carl spent his life living in Arizona and Colorado getting a Bachelor of Science degree in business and then moved to Carson City, Nevada where he was employed for 15+ years as the Director of Operations for PolyPhaser Corporation in Minden, Nevada. He loved fishing, golf and the Denver Broncos.

Carl was preceded in death by his parents Leonard & Mucie Morton; and sisters Barbara Troutman & Verna Shatto. Carl is survived by Daughters: Kathryn Reecy of Reno, NV; Melissa Morton-Murphy of Carson City, NV and Amber Morton of Carson City, NV. Sister: Lota Rosaschi of Yerington, NV. Brothers: Wesley Madewell of Yerington, NV; Vernon Madewell of Yadkenville, NC; and Danny Morton of Mountain Grove, VA.

Carl was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend to all that knew him. He will be loved, remembered and missed forever. Services will be held at 10am January 7, 2012 at Freitas Rupracht Funeral Home.
