Robert Lee Fritz, 85, a 25 year resident of Gardnerville, Nevada, passed away December 19, 2011. He was born June 3, 1926 to Clarence Fritz and Lavona Sweeny in Nanticoke, Pennsylvania. Robert was in the US Navy, having served on the USS Haynsworth, he was a WWII Veteran.
Robert is survived by his wife, Martha Clay Fritz; daughters, Christine (Les) Vido of Gardnerville and Kathleen Garden of Escondido, Calif.; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A small, family memorial will be held at a later time. He is to be interred at Eastside Memorial. Fitzhenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. 782-1999
