Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• Micah Daniel Smith, 32, unemployed of Reno, was arrested at 4:27 p.m. Monday in the 900 block of South Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of methamphetamine and a Douglas County warrant for suspicion of misdemeanor assault. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Che Daniel Brower, 19, a laborer from Carson City, was arrested at 5:36 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500.

• Benjamin Berg, 20, an unemployed transient, was arrested at 6:39 p.m. Monday in the 1400 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of felony grand larceny. Bail was set at $10,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• A woman reported finding two strangers inside her vehicle while it was parked at a gas station on North Carson Street at 1:18 a.m.

• A speaker and amplifier were stolen from a vehicle in the 700 block of Silver Oak Drive sometime before 8:50 a.m.

• Report of ammunition found in a North Stewart Street motel room at 9:10 a.m.

• A vehicle struck a tree at East Fifth Street and Hidden Meadow Drive at 5:29 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report at 12:10 a.m. of a used syringe left in a Mark Twain gas station bathroom after a man and woman used it.

• A juvenile at Silver Stage High School was detained for causing a school disturbance at 9:04 a.m.

• A female student at Dayton High School was suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance at 8:16 a.m.

• Report of a man on Rose Peak Road in Dayton running in front of cars and jumping on them saying he is suicidal at 1:29 p.m.

• Arrest at 9:39 p.m. in the 1600 block of Meadows Avenue in Fernley following a report of a domestic dispute.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Monday:

• Report of a fire smoldering at the base of a large tree on Peri Ranch Road at 7:54 a.m. The fire was extinguished.

• Report at 8 a.m. of a underweight sickly horse at a home on Wagon Wheel Way.

• Report of a smoldering pile of debris on Peri Ranch Road at 11:45 a.m. about 100 feet from the earlier fire. The fire was extinguished.
