Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• A 35-year-old landscaper from Carson City was arrested at 10:33 p.m. Thursday at Beverly Drive and Roop Street on suspicion of misdemeanor violation of bail conditions, having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle, speeding and driving on a suspended license. Bail was set at $3,136.
• A 31-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 8:33 p.m. Thursday at Saliman Road and Sonoma Drive on suspicion of failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to maintain a single lane and drunken driving. Bail was set at $1,346.
• Robert Jorgenson, 30, unemployed of Gardner-ville, was arrested at 9:52 p.m. Thursday in the 800 block of East Musser Street on suspicion of felony failure to appear on a drug charge and misdemeanor contempt of court. No bail was set.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• A 50-year-old man in police custody at the Silver Springs substation was taken to the hospital after complaining of chest pains at 2:09 a.m.
• Arrest at 2:47 a.m. on Birch Street in Silver Springs.
• A man on West Rawles Street in Fernley reported at 11:52 a.m. that a woman he shares a home with "battered him in the neck." A 44-year-old woman was arrested.
• Report of a white Ford Explorer stolen from the 2500 block of Rawhide Street sometime before 12:04 p.m.
• A Mason Valley caller reported at 1:50 p.m. that a father bit a 4-year-old child on the hand, leaving a bite mark.
Storey County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Accident at the summit of State Route 341 at 9:13 p.m.
• Report of a vehicle in a ditch on Cartwright Road at 10:23 p.m.
