Another storm system is expected to roll through the region late tonight or early Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service in Reno.
"We're going to start seeing winds pick up Tuesday night and there will be a chance for gusts up to 45 mph," said Brian Brong, a meteorologist with the NWS.
Brong said there will be a chance for rain in the valley Wednesday morning with snow levels above 5,000 feet.
"Most of the heavier snow will be up in the Sierra near Spooner and Echo Point," Brong said, adding a cold front will follow on Thursday and could mean some snow showers in the valley.
But this time, Brong said the snow isn't expected to accumulate.
Temperatures will warm after the storm until another system that could potentially follow on Sunday.
