Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 1:36 a.m. Saturday in the 300 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of misdemeanor disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer and a traffic warrant. Bail was set at $1,046.

• A 57-year-old casino worker from Virginia City was arrested at 10:53 p.m. Sunday in the 2100 block of Airport Road on suspicion of violation of bail conditions. Bail was set at $3,000.

• An 18-year-old unemployed Dayton man was arrested at 4:55 a.m. Sunday at North Saliman Road and Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor failure to yield, minor consuming alcohol, having an open container of alcohol in a vehicle and no proof of insurance. Bail was set at $1,742.

• Brandi Lynn Simpson, 32, of Carson City, was arrested at 5:11 p.m. Friday in the 3200 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of felony possession of an altered prescription and attempt to acquire a controlled substance by fraud. Bail was set at $7,500.

• Jorge Salazar-Castro, 37, a delivery driver from Carson City, was arrested at 10:47 a.m. in the 4900 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of gross misdemeanor child abuse/neglect and endangerment and two counts of domestic battery. Bail was set at $7,764.

• Kristopher Lynn Garver, 23, unemployed of Carson City, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. Saturday at Spear and Minnesota streets on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution and obstructing with violence. Bail was set at $10,000.

• Eric Daniel Beaman, 23, a landscaper from Carson City, was arrested at 3:11 p.m. Saturday in the 2300 block of Poole Way on suspicion of felony parole violation and misdemeanor failure to appear on a traffic citation. No bail was set.

• Monica Michelle Uribe, 37, unemployed of Reno, was arrested at 1:15 p.m. Friday on an August bench warrant for failure to appear for sentencing. No bail was set.

• Che Daniel Brower, 19, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 9:45 a.m. Friday at the Carson City Jail, on suspicion of prisoner in possession of a controlled substance and possession of a prescription drug without a prescription. During booking an officer allegedly discovered Brower had taped to his crotch a narcotic commonly used to detox from heroin. Bail was set at $7,500.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Report at 1:48 a.m. of an ongoing problem with loud music at a Airport Road apartment.

• A woman who's home was burglarized reported at 9:55 a.m. that she was receiving text messages from the culprit.

• Report of a deer impaled on a fence in the 2300 block of Ash Canyon Road at 10:38 a.m. A deputy was called out to shoot the deer, and then animal control had to come help remove it from the fence.

• Attempted burglary reported at Big 5 in the 4200 block of South Carson Street at 11:58 a.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:

• Report of a vehicle rollover on Farrell Lane at 12:34 a.m.

• Arrest on Main Street in Fernley at 4:20 a.m.

• Arrest on Columbine Court in Fernley at 4:35 a.m.

• A Mound House parent reported at 8:08 a.m. their missing adult son returned home. They asked that his name removed from the national database and for a deputy to return the son's identification card.

• Coroner call in the 500 block of West Main Street in Fernley at 10:18 a.m.

• A woman in Stagecoach reported at 1:14 p.m. that her neighbor's dog bit her and the neighbor witnessed it and was doing nothing about it. The caller wanted to sign a citation.

• A man in Silver Springs reported at 3 p.m. that he was assaulted by several people on West Fifth Street.
