Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Nathan William Daggett, 18, a cook from Carson City, was arrested at 8:49 p.m. Thursday in the 300 block of South Carson Meadows Drive on suspicion of felony probation violation. Also arrested was Jason Michael Bender, 26, of Carson City, on suspicion of felony parole violation, gross misdemeanor possession of dangerous weapon, misdemeanor failure to appear, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. No bail was set for either one.
• Traycee Way, 43, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 5:03 a.m. Friday at Arrowhead and Emerson drives on suspicion of felony possession of prescription drugs without a prescription, misdemeanor obscene phone calls, speeding, reckless driving and a traffic infraction. Bail was set at $5,000.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• An SUV struck a tree at Woodside and Siskiyou drives at 1:33 p.m. A 65-year-old man was injured.
• A 24-year-old man was detained at 3:49 p.m. at a Highway 50 East grocery store after he allegedly stole a can opener, knife and child's toothbrush. The man said he needed some of the items to open food he'd gotten for his children. He also had a warrant for violation of a suspended sentence. An arrest was made.
• Coroner call at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center at 7:31 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Report of a fence broken into on Mull Lane in Fernley at 8:11 a.m.
• Misdemeanor arrest on Highway 50 East in Dayton at 8:35 a.m.
• Arrest on Helen Avenue in Yerington at 4:19 p.m.
• A man reported someone pulled a gun on him during a dispute at a mobile home park in Fernley at 8:23 p.m.
Storey County
The following is one of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:
• Report of a vehicle stuck at the Virginia City Cemetery at 11:38 p.m.
