Carson City
The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:
• Audrey Cherie Peebles, 22, unemployed of Carson City, was additionally booked into the Carson City Jail at 6 p.m. Sunday on suspicion of two counts of felony possession of heroin, gross misdemeanor possession of prescription drug without a prescription and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She allegedly smuggled balloons of heroin and pills into the jail.
• Joshua Stevens, 27, was arrested on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution, three misdemeanor warrants for contempt of court and failure to use a turn signal. Bail was set at $20,000.
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• Report of an iPod and money stolen from an unlocked vehicle between 1 and 5 a.m. in the 600 block of West Third Street. The contents of the victim's makeup case was also found scattered in the street.
• Report of a purse with a checkbook stolen from an unlocked vehicle in the 1100 block of West Sunset Way sometime overnight.
• Report of a hydropack, knives, road flares, and other items stolen from an unlocked vehicle at Mountain and Musser streets sometime overnight.
• A woman reported her 9-year-old child was "jumped" by other children on Glacier Avenue about 2:40 p.m.
• A dispute over pancakes prompted a call to 911 at 4:51 p.m. in the 500 block of North Stewart Street. According to the report, a man and woman at a motel got into an argument when the man didn't want to immediately eat pancakes prepared by the woman. The woman allegedly threw the pancakes at the man and slapped him upside the head with a spatula. The woman reported she threw the pancakes because the man called her a name. She denied hitting him with the spatula and said the man pushed her down, showing the officer a scratch on her back. The case is being submitted to the district attorney for review.
• A caller reported an ongoing problem with barking dogs in the 900 block of Tonka Lane at 6:31 p.m.
• A caller reported an ongoing problem with the neighbor's children being loud on North Edmonds Drive at 10:16 p.m.
Lyon County
The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Sunday:
• Accident on Highway 50 East at Pine Cone Road in Dayton at 4:33 p.m.
• A woman reported at 10:04 p.m. her vehicle spun out on ice and she hit a pole on Fort Churchill Road in Dayton, causing her passenger to hit his head.
