Obituary: Jose C. Funes

Jose C. Funes, 80, of Carson City died Jan. 8, 2011. He was born Sept 22,1930, in La Venta, Honduras, to Pedro and Maria Funes. He is survived by his wife Julia; sons Arcadio, Carlos, Norberto, Dimas and Abel; daughters Victoria, Maria, Domitila, Romelia, Macaria, Mirian, Wendy, Laura, Evelina, Ligia, Mireyda and Sandra; brother Lazaro;sisters Ofelia, Otilia and Valeria; and 41 grandchildren. Viewing will be 4-9 p.m. today at FitzHenry's Funeral Home. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at FitzHenry's. Interment will follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery. FitzHenry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
