Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• John Adam Henry, 29, unemployed from Carson City, was arrested at 1:07 p.m. Thursday at Northridge and Southridge drives on suspicion of felony probation violation and criminal contempt. No bail was set.

• A 24-year-old unemployed Carson City man was arrested at 3:41 a.m. Thursday in the 1700 block of Highway 50 East on suspicion of misdemeanor drunken driving. His 21-year-old girlfriend was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and possession of marijuana for allegedly hitting him during a dispute in their vehicle outside a Highway 50 East carwash. Bail was set at $3,864 for the woman, and $1,132 for the man.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Report of the door on a rental home on East Long Street kicked in by an unknown person at

4:11 p.m.

• A transient 64-year-old woman who is often intoxicated and jailed was found asleep in a motel laundry room at 6:25 p.m. after having vomited or defecated in a dryer. She was jailed.

• A woman reported she had received a letter in the mail from someone stating "someone was going to find her and they know where she lives and works." The woman didn't know who sent the letter.

• Two snowboards were reported stolen at 7:28 p.m. from a vehicle parked at Carson High while the owner was in classes.

• Fight report in the 400 block of East Park Street at 10:43 p.m.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Thursday:

• Coroner call on Ramsey Street at 4:37 a.m.

• Report of five people fighting on Cowee Drive in Mound House at 4:46 p.m.
