Carson City road report for Jan. 31-Feb. 6

The following information applies to the period of Jan. 31-Feb. 6:

On Monday, the outside southbound lane of Stewart Street will be closed between 2nd and 3rd Streets between

7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. due to work on state property.

The intersection of Musser and Curry streets, as well as Musser Street between Curry and Carson streets, will be closed Thursday evening from

8 p.m. through Friday morning at 6 a.m. due to utility work.

The following is expected to occur due to sidewalk and utility work. There will not be any road closures, but please use caution when traveling through these areas.

• Sidewalk improvements will occur at Northgate Lane and Nye Lane.

• Shoulder work will occur at Stanton and Monte Rosa drives.

• Shoulder work will occur along Elaine Street.

Clearview Drive is closed between Edmonds Drive and Line Drive for construction on the next phase of the Nevada Department of Transportation freeway project. Detours are marked. The road is expected to reopen by November 2011.
