RENO (AP) - More human remains have been found at a construction project at the University of Nevada, Reno that was once the site of a cemetery.
KOLO-TV reports Friday that a total of six sets of human remains have been uncovered from the site at Virginia Street and College Drive, where the university is building a new dormitory.
The site was once St. Thomas Catholic Cemetery and was in use as early as 1879. All the graves were thought to have been removed before the university bought the property in the early 1960s.
Construction work resumed Friday, with spotters watching to make sure heavy equipment doesn't disturb more unknown graves.
