Carson City

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All suspects are innocent until proved guilty in court:

• A 34-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 1:24 a.m. Thursday in the 2300 block of Gentry Lane on suspicion of misdemeanor domestic battery and resisting a peace officer. Bail was set at $3,764.

• Joseph Gregory Scurti, 23, an auto parts worker, was arrested at 3:22 p.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of Saliman Road on suspicion of felony providing false identification to avoid prosecution, possession of methamphetamine, driving on a suspended license, driving with expired registration, no proof of insurance and violation of probation. Bail was set at $10,000.

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• A vehicle and bicycle collided at 7:28 a.m. on North Carson Street at Sophia Street.

• A woman on Palo Verde reported at 2:24 p.m. that she was taking a nap when she was awakened by a stranger opening her bedroom door. She said she yelled at the teen and he fled out the back toward Mills Park. Police were unable to locate him.

• Report at 8:20 a.m. of a garage on Hazelwood Court burglarized and motorcycle parts and tools stolen.

• Accident at 10:11 a.m. at North Carson Street at Caroline Street.

• Report of a juke box missing from a Highway 50 East business under renovation.

• A 4-by-8 utility trailer with sides, a spare tire and Nevada plate 20046V were reported missing at 2:28 p.m. from the 800 block of Old Clear Creek Road.

• An attempted burglary was reported in the 2200 block of Michael Drive at 4:54 p.m. Homeowner reported finding a window screen cut but nothing missing.

Lyon County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report at 7:48 a.m. of the NDOT shop in Smith Valley burglarized and batteries stolen from vehicles.

• Misdemeanor arrest at 8:10 p.m. on Desert Shadows in Fernley.

Storey County

The following are some of the calls to which deputies responded Wednesday:

• Report at 10:35 p.m. of a motorcycle accident on State Route 341. Deputy was unable to locate.
