Carson Tahoe Regional Healthcare Auxiliary held its third annual "Moonlight on the Greens" Charity Golf Tournament at Silver Oak Golf Club July 15. A big thank you to all those businesses who donated items for the raffle: Empire Ranch Golf, Coco Dolce, Gold Dust West Hotel and Casino, Starbucks - North Carson, 6 Week Work Out, Silver Oak Golf Club and The Auxiliary Gift Shop. Also, many thanks to John Hurzel of Grandma Hattie's for a fantastic dinner and Robert Mason and his staff at Silver Oak Golf Club for all their hard work in preparing the course for the night time golfers. Even with Mother Nature's wind and clouds to obscure the moon, a fun time was had by all. The proceeds from the raffle and the tournament will be used for the auxiliary's various regional healthcare and community projects.
The CTRH Auxiliary is a tax-exempt charitable organization that has been aiding our healthcare organization for more than 60 years. In that time, we have raised over a million dollars, which has purchased everything from drapes to medical equipment, a shuttle and huggable Bears for the ER. Our organization also provides nursing scholarships, and furnishes layette items to newborns of families in need.
Again, we appreciate all the generous donations and many thanks to those who participated in the Tournament.

The committee for the Carson City Relay for Life 2011, would like to thank the community of Carson City for participating in this annual fundraiser benefitting the American Cancer Society. Space limitations don't allow for individual thanks but we couldn't have had a successful event without the sponsors, volunteers, performers and special guests that so generously gave of their time and money.
We appreciate you, Carson City!
